Underground Tavern

3.7 update: there is a bug (hopefully not a "feature") that prevents clicking the map device if there is any deco on top of it that has slightly greater radius than the map device. It seems the map device click range is massively nerfed, I posted a bug report here:

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2518113

and hope it will be fixed, meanwhile theres a version with an undecorated map device, but you can also remove the few decoration by hand to save yourself the download.

Hello!

This is my personal hideout. It is based on the Excavated Hideout and requires a minimal amount of MTX to look like it does. The Fireplace costs around 6€ and is, in my opinion, essential to the lightning in this hideout. It makes a cozy place to chill during afk times or trading. All Masters have their personal "Space" and Alva/Jun are placed so that their portal can spawn, although the portals may be a bit too close to the waypoint. So if its your preference, you can move the Waypoint to Navalis Corner for example. Also I personally have my Stash right on top of the Map Device and Zana a bit closer so my character doesn't move when stashing/vendoring. It is changed in the blue print to mainstream the look a bit but you can obvously customize it to your preference. I hope you enjoy my Hideout! I also intend to make a cozy tavern on the glacial hideout in the future, so stay tuned.

For any questions you can message me ingame under my current nick: BetrayerMitmoc

Hey,

first off, I would like to say I am loving the hideout and the cosy environment of it! I only have 1 request that's regarding something that i see a lot of people do, and i don't get how its not bothering them. When you run/move in the Hideout you can see a lot of wooden planks/building supplies flicker all over the place, because 1 wooden plank is over another one and they are kinda fighting which one will be on top every step you take. To fix it it would just require for planks and other ground decorations to not be one over the other. If you have the time that would be an amazing improvement to the hideout feel when you are walking around in it.

Thank you for an amazing hideout!

Hey! this is bothering me too. The Issue is that GGG didn't design those planks (or anything at all that is used for floors almost) to be seamlessly connected. So, I tried making them not touch but then it literally just looks like theres loose wooden plates put on the ground and it no longer looks like a flooring. I will try changing the floor to something less flickery to give an alternative, but ultimately I think this is on GGG to fix by either making snapping possible (by making them connect properly or giving finer adjustment possibility when moving objects) or having object-trim (like it is normal for any modeling in order to prevent this exact issue).

I will give it a shot, but I can't promise I can make it work without completely fucking up the floor :D

I gave it a shot and I think it is now a lot less flicker on the floor. Changes are in version 1.2.0.

Wow that was fast! Loving how you fixed it. Thank you again.
And i completely agree that it's ultimately on GGG to make a change when in comes to flooring.

Ah, nice. I noticed the flickering, but wasn't really bothered by it because of my other issue. GGG needs to fix their import 'feature' so stop moving things around every time I leave my hideout.

Loved the upgrade from 1.0 to 1.1 too. Though I do have to move some chairs/tables around to get in the temple or hideouts. But still nice all the same!

Nice hideout , Thank you

My English is general, so I don't write any more comments.

Thanks again, I am looking forward to your update.

Check your other hideouts, or (alternatively) go through your Hideout Tab & Reclaim all of it.

Alva & Jun's positions no longer matter. Yes, there is are bugs with the spawn location (some of which right now can NOT be fixed by us ourselves...) you will have to move your waypoint each & EVERY Single time you login or change hideouts.

09 January, 2020 - 23:04

Shifting masters, stashes and waypoint by even just a single pixel in rotation will save their location now. So they won't be flopping back to default placements whenever you exit and enter the hideout.
